What it's about: Nine days after their father's funeral, Solveig, the eldest and a nurse in Oslo with the odelsrett, and Ivar, who stayed and has run the family dairy farm in Valdres for years, meet at the kitchen table with the lawyer's papers. Everyone expects her to sign the farm over, but she hasn't brought a pen, and both siblings turn out to be afraid of more than money.
