Jordmora

On a February night in Lofoten an avalanche closes the E10 and a storm grounds the air ambulance, just as Kamila goes into fast labor with her second child in a house outside Reine. Midwife Solrun, nearly sixty, drives behind a snowplow through the storm to a kitchen with a panicking fisherman, a sleeping three-year-old and a baby who will not wait for the road to open.
